I have had a fantastic experience with Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio. On my initial visit, Dr. Salameh was knowledgeable, professional and really listened and provided clear advice and worked with me to develop a good plan for addressing my health concerns. During that visit as well as my follow-up, the staff was excellent and did a great job supporting my needs in scheduling and with my somewhat unique requests with respect to the VA documentation and follow-up. My procedures went well and I am looking forward to my follow-up next month to continue addressing my remaining concerns. Definitely recommend the practice in general. I wish all of my providers and their practices were this helpful and supportive.

I had an appointment with Dr Guirl’s NP Rita Patel. This was my first time meeting her. She took her time with me. Made sure she answered any questions I had. Made sure I was comfortable with the medication I was taking plus gave me a list of alternative medications that might be cheaper. She also let me know that any discussion we had that Dr Guirl would be informed. I highly recommend seeing her if Dr Guirl isn’t available.

I was initially doctor Jackson patient, and then for maintenance medication and maintenance visits, I went to Dr. Erica. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She actually listens to her patients, understands their concerns, and gives them the time they need to get their questions answered. She is always concerned about my overall well-being, and always reminds me about health concerns I should be on the lookout for, as I get older. In this day and age, it is very hard to find a conscientious, caring, and excellent doctor. I consider myself lucky to have found Dr. Erica. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a doctor.
