Had a mri done here few months ago the youn hv lands who did my mri was great and very friendly and informative. Thank you for that
Avoid at all cost. How one employee can destroys the organization’s reputation in less than 10 minutes. Take my 66 years old sister in law for a procedure. The nurse by the name Aida is to push the wheelchair down while I walk down to pay for the parking and get the car from the parking lot. My wife accompanied her sister in the wheelchair down. The nurse ordered my wife to open the door so she can push the wheelchair pass. She scold my wife for not open the door fast enough. Never mind that my wife is 72 years old woman with a heart condition. Down at the door, the nurse keep fussing looking for me. Never mind that it takes less than 10 minutes for me to walk across the street to get the car. Never mind that I wait 4 hours in the waiting room. Never mind that the procedure cost almost $4,000. If your employee don’t want to push the wheelchair down, just let me know in advance. I can do it myself. The service is so much different with Methodist.
Wow this is a terrible front desk .That so frustrating! It’s tough when the first point of contact isn’t friendly, especially when you’re already in a situation where you need good care. Hopefully, the nurses and other staff make up for that experience and provide the support better.
Do not let them trick you into to paying more than you should! Pay the least amount possible. We used our FSA card to pay for a procedure and they charged the card three times since 4/26. The EOB states we owe them zero dollars. I called them on 5/28 to ask for our refund and was told we have to wait for the refund dept. Now, it’s 6/11 and still no refund, and they charged our fsa card again on June 1. Now our FSA funds are being held, and who knows when we will receive our refund. Also, it’s up to the “refund dept” if we will receive a check or the funds will be refunded to the card. Why can’t they just refund the card! This is a waste of our funds, time and energy. I tried to avoid this on the day of the procedure; however, Gabby assured me we would not have this problem. Yet, here we are with the exact problem. The doctor’s and nurses are great, but the billing dept and front desk staff are very difficult to deal with. I’ve never had this problem with Methodist hospital. I won’t be coming back to this facility.
The nurses and doctors were absolutely 5 stars and were wonderful. Billing is a complete nightmare. Was estimated $3,345 for my son’s endoscopy and my portion only ended up being $836. It’s been two months and still no refund. Memorial Hermann quoted the doctor portion as $444 and my share was $90. The surgery center handles their own billing and Memorial Hermann billing cannot help you. I was told they only issue refunds once a month, which is ridiculous. That is a huge amount of money to be off by.
