I am deeply disappointed with the care my child received at this surgery center. The staff showed a complete lack of understanding and empathy. When they took my child away for anesthesia, they moved slowly and insisted on trying to get my child to wave goodbye, despite already being upset, which only made things worse. I could hear their cries growing louder and more desperate from the waiting area. Once the procedure was quickly finished, I could clearly hear my child screaming, and I had to stand up and demand to see them. When I was finally allowed to retrieve my child, the paperwork was not completed in a timely manner. The nurse insisted we stay until all the paperwork was finished, while my toddler sobbed and begged to go home, despite both parents being present. It wasn’t until another staff member intervened that I was allowed to bring my child to the car. This experience was incredibly upsetting, and I do not feel my child's well-being was prioritized. If I ever have to bring my child here again, I will make sure to be a strong advocate for them to prevent this level of distress.
Both his office staff and his team at the surgery center were excellent. I could not have asked for any better experience with the care given from either facility. Dr. Byrne will LISTEN to your concerns and EXPLAIN his recommendations and give you the WHY. Highly recommend.
Dr. Glass honestly is a 10/10 doctor and did such an amazing job with my daughter. The staff and all where great the wait time was a little long but they made us feel comfortable and like we where welcome to ask questions and it was all around a great experience
We got there at 6:30 for my daughter to get tubes. Front desk attendant was very friendly even with Sayler getting into everything and me having to run after her as I filled out the paperwork. All nurses and doctors that we came into contact with were very friendly and offered to answer all questions. After surgery, one nurse cuddled my girl until I could get back there. Overall, very nice experience!
They were very nice up on arriving. The lobby was clean the receptionist was very nice and explained everything to us. We didn’t have to wait long. The nursing staff went over all paperwork and medicine that they were giving my daughter. She had her tonsils taken out. They talked us through every step of the process. The surgery lasted 30mins and we were called to go back as soon as she was in the recovery room. They gave her a popsicle and water. And was very gentle with her. The nurse was actually holding her when we got to the room. They even called the next day to check on her and make sure she was doing well!
