I had cataract surgery and I can’t imagine how I could have had better care, or results. There is obviously some concern when someone is working on your eyes, but it appears my results are excellent. On top to that, all my visits at the beautiful new facility were prompt with minimal waiting time. Every staff person was friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the Christian “background” music. Dr. Dossey took the time to answer my questions and offered a prayer before each surgery. He also called me personally the evening after each surgery to check on my recovery. I will recommend the Heaton Surgery center and Dr. Dossey to everyone looking for opthamological care.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love Heaton Eye Associates! Every single visit has been such a positive experience for my daughter. The entire staff is so kind, patient, and truly goes above and beyond to make kids feel comfortable and cared for. The doctors take their time, explain everything clearly, and make sure kids feel confident and calm through the whole process. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients, not just their vision but their comfort too. The office is warm, welcoming, and runs so smoothly—it’s such a relief as a parent to know your child is in such great hands. The new building is beautiful and flows great. But a little signage is needed in the front lobby directing patients. Once inside, everything flowed beautifully. The first assistant did a great job of performing all the incoming tests. She was also very welcoming and pleasant. Once my eyes were dilated, nice to wait in the exam room instead of a waiting room. Dr Nichol was very pleasant and professional. He listened to my concerns and was very thorough with the exam. I will miss his easy, cheerful and professional manner next year.
