Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Their billing department is the worst I've ever dealt with. They harassed me for thousands of dollar just moments before I was going in for surgery. They strong armed and bullied me while I was vulnerable and in pain. Of course, I did not have the thousands they were demanding from me at time of service. Afterward, they continued to harass me for what turned out to be in the hundreds, not thousands. Called me while I was working. (Trying to make money to pay their bill!!) I made payments faithfully each month, yet got a letter threating to turn me over to collections. Now, in order to save my credit rating, I have to pay them in full. As a result, I will not be able to pay some of my other bills. If you can avoid this place, please do so at all costs! (Literally) PS - This is a shame, because all the other staff at the facility are top notch. The billing department ruined all of that for me. The other departments there deserve better representation than this. It makes the whole place look bad. I'll never go there again.

My son had to have anesthesia for a dental procedure and all of the staff were very friendly. I appreciated them taking my sons fears into consideration and letting me go with my son while he was going to sleep from anesthesia. The dentist did a great job and my son did really well.

My son had to get some work on his teeth with Dr Hanks from Happy Tooth dental in Millcreek. He is almost 4 years old and still too young to do the procedure without anesthesia. I brought him to Murray surgical center after a lot of dialogue beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect. The nurse Jillian was great with my son and they let me be with him pre and post procedure. Dr hanks took additional X-rays while he was asleep to ensure no further decay. They were very compassionate as my son woke up in a rage and they followed up with me to make sure he was doing well. Excellent care! I’m glad Dr Hanks chose to use this center for his patients.

I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding care and service my son and I received! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel at ease with their warm and welcoming atmosphere. Mark greeted us with genuine smiles, and the waiting area was beautifully designed to keep children entertained with books, toys, and friendly staff! the entire team were exceptional in their approach to my child's dental needs. They took the time to explain every step of the procedure, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and ensured that my child felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire experience. The surgical center was incredibly clean, organized, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, giving us confidence in their ability to provide top-notch care.

My two kiddos had dental surgery here yesterday with Dr. Hanks. The staff here was very welcoming and made sure we all felt comfortable and at ease. The nurse my boys had was absolutely amazing. I was really nervous being there on my own with two kids waking up from anesthesia but she helped me so much. Thanks so much for taking care of my kiddos!
