Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

My whole experience from start to finish was exceptional . I have had two surgeries here and the whole team was amazing ! They were great listeners and showered me with compassionate care. The anesthesiologist was attentive and listened to me as I gave him details of what has worked in the past . The gal , Amy at the front was so kind and the billing process was flawless. I would highly recommend the surgery center as they take pride in making you feel comfortable and cared for . You will get exceptional care here !!!

PLEASE READ UPDATE BELOW. My husband had a total knee replacement on August 7th, 2025. I would give everything about the surgery itself five ⭐'s to include: pre-op, ( Molly), surgeon, (Dr. Matt Shirley), and post-op. (Arlene). PERFECTION. HOWEVER, I had to talk to billing the day before. To be exact, Margarita. The stress that goes along with having to have surgery, and then to be bullied by the billing department the day before demanding $2400 without any consideration of deductible and/or EOB's while having other claims being processed is truly incredulous to say the least. I immediately called insurance prior to paying, whereas insurance ended up having to talk to Margarita's supervisor to come up with a solution, which was $650 down and then going on to a payment plan. I was also calling our insurance, BCBS, to find an alternative hospital the day before surgery. I am obviously not the only person who has had a problem with the BILLING department. I think a different billing strategy, or a good opportunity for training employees could only benefit the entirety of this hospital instead of just the surgical department carrying the five ⭐'s for the entire business. ***UPDATE: I received a phone call from Alissa, the supervisor, who was very kind regarding my review. She seemed to be in agreement regarding employee training for a more positive experience and was never defensive, which is what I was expecting. A sincere and warm appreciation comes from me for the follow-up and by letting my frustrations be heard. I am upgrading my 1 star to 3 stars due to her acknowledgement and her ability to professionally accept my criticisms. Thank you.

I had a great experience at the Park City Surgery Center. I had never had surgery before and was pretty nervous. Despite my experience in the medical field for the last 18 years (ICU and now private practice) and familiarity of pre-op, surgery, and post-op care; it was a whole new experience and daunting emotion being on the other side of things as a patient. The entire surgical team was awesome! They explained everything in detail very well, were very calm and reassuring about the entire process. They made me feel less like a patient and more like a friend or family member, and it wasn't just one particular individual it was the entire team that cared for me. They were all great! Definitely a top notch place that I would feel comfortable taking my family, referring my patients to and returning if ever needed. Thank you for the great care!
