Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Excellent staff , 2 surgeries in past 24 months at this facility. Everyone is friendly, supportive, compassionate, informative. Always feel at ease, reassured, recovery best out of all surgeries I have had, now at 17.🙂 Highly recommend for everyone that would need facilities such as this. If I could rate higher than a 5, I would. Thank you again to all that participated in my recovery. Always, eternally grateful. Surgical crew gave me my life back, staff re-assured me that I was strong enough to achieve that.😄

Shout out to Tess and Desiree and the anesthesiology team! They are amazing! Dr Kevin Bonner is the best orthopedic surgeon out there! Thanks to everyone for making my experiences positive.

I’m an OR RN at a different surgery center not affiliated with LOSC. I had thumb arthrodesis on 12/17/24 & everyone from check in to loading me in the car post op were wonderful! I wasn’t a nurse that day & didn’t want my caregivers to know any different. This patient appreciates the warm & caring professionalism I received from each of you! Thank you all so very much! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you & yours🎄❤️
