Dr. Eller, and the entire staff at Rockingham eye physicians are amazing. They are kind, professional, thoughtful, And Amiable. They’re not friendly because of their job, they are genuine. I felt at ease from the first time. I stepped in that office. Dr. Eller explained everything. There was never a moment that I felt nervous or unsure. They are an awesome group.!

Well, Rockingham eye, Associates has done it again this office relies solely on an automated computer system to notify patients when the office cancels their appointment. thing is (per office staff) the computer system will not leave a message if the answering machine picks up and the office never calls a second time to ever make sure the patient gets the message . Now we have driven all the way to Harrisonburg and are told “our computer system called you last week and canceled this appointment” basically saying our cumputer says we called you so that means we did and putting the blame on the patient for not getting the message. . Then admitted the system has issues and doesn’t always work. You didn’t call my husband, you said you called my husband‘s cell phone, which is glued to his hand 24 seven there is no way he missed a call. This is the second time that this office’s automated system has failed a patient in our family I would recommend to this office they check this automated system’ because I’m sure they pay a pretty penny for it. The manager just told my husband today ‘what do you want me to do about it’ He said have some accountability for your mistake. There is no way placing 1 automatic phone call is the proper way to care for patients especially since you already know it doesn’t work properly (as my other family members episode was just a few months ago) and I know she discussed it with your staff. . They have offered to see him at 1200 noon today, so he is going to wait an hour to be seen because if he leaves they win and the patient loses again. I feel sorry for the elderly patients that go there and have to rely on family members to take off work to take them and they walk into the same situation we have. Rockingham eye you need to stop worrying about your pretty building and get some of those people behind your desk on the phone calling your patients . It’s just another example of how uncaring the medical system has become. This will likely be the last we use your business. Your not the game around. Do you even read your reviews because lots are saying the same thing.

My husband & I both are very conscientious about our vision. So pleased with the level of support & expertise of my new Optometrist & Surgeon, Dr. Tara McGhee. Also, love catching up with old friends while being processed by a professional & kind staf, especially Betsy who waited to take her lunch break until after she checked me out from the visit! The doctor's care was excellent. My appointment was at 10:30 but it was after 12:30 before i was able to see the doctor. The waiting area was full of people who had appointments before me. One person had to call and cancel a previous engagement because she had waited more than two hours for her appointment.
