I've seen Dr. Blackburn for 3 different reasons over the course of 20 years. He's always taken great care of me and I've always healed up beautifully. He is an incredible doctor who I trust completely. He's also very kind and very funny. I can't say enough positive things about him. His nurse and staff are also incredibly kind and extremely professional. 10 out of 10 recommend Dr. Blackburn. He's such a great doctor.

I went to see Dr. Blackburn for trigger thumb that was clicking and achy. I was seeking some immediate relief, so I could work until I found a more permanent solution. I paid a 60 dollar co-pay and my insurance paid over a 100 dollars for the least caring, least empathetic surgeon I’ve met. And I work as a nurse in a perioperative environment. I saw him for 10 minutes and received very little assistance or good information regarding my thumb. Now 2 months later, I cannot hold a piece of paper with my thumb and index finger. It’s twice the size of my left thumb. And I can’t work. I need a steroid injection. I call Dr Blackburn’s office today, and explain this painful thumb situation. The nurse calls me back and says to soak it and wear a brace. This is not a soak/brace situation. I can’t even bump it on anything. It’s so incredibly painful. Completely defeated just needing some help, so I can go back to work and have some relief, I called a clinic who had a PA. He happily injected my thumb joint. And I had immediate relief with significant reduction in swelling and heat. If you need real help, this isn’t the place. I did not feel any concern for my well-being or my situation. Probably more of a face-lift/butt lift establishment..

Dr. Blackburn is a very profession surgeon who has provided excellent care to his patients. I have worked with him closely over the years and seen the outcomes that people have from their surgeries. He is meticulous and detailed in his approach. I would have him perform my needed hand surgeries without hesitation.

Let's look at three aspects. First the front end staff. Friendly Caring and willing to way out of the norm to accommodate. Rating 5 star ++. Second, the surgical suite and staff. I have had 2 hand surgeries here in the past 45 days. Clean, modern and amazing staff. 5 Stars ++. Finally, Dr.Blackburn. He is professional beyond all I have met. Straight to the point with no song and dance. The procedures went better than I'd hoped for. Plus, a great dry sense of humor. If you need to be coddled, call your mom. If you want the best in the biz this is it. Thanks

Dr. Blackburn is hands down the most badass plastic surgeon ever. He was totally down to earth and factual. He doesn't flounce around but is straight to the point. I have lots of PTSD issues and was concerned with the vulnerable state I'd need to be in for my procedure and follow-up visits, but he puts me 100% at easy. I completely trust him and his judgement. I can NOT recommend him enough. And his nurse is AMAZING. ❤️
