Can’t say enough positives regarding our recent experience at Pacific-Rim-Outpatient-Surgery-Center in Bellingham, WA. The surgery staff (Dr. Van Hofwegen’s team) and the entire Post-Op-Team were/are second to none. Naomi, Nancy, Janna, Rachel, Felix, and Molly went “over and above” to make sure my lovely bride was given the very best care available in the entire health-care-industry period! So many high-quality metrics to choose from in terms of our favorite experiences, but their attention to detail (pursuit of perfection) along with the jaw-dropping speed in which they executed the many tasks associated with Pre & Post Knee-Replacement-Surgery is truly mind boggling. After moving up North (from the Seattle area), we were starting from scratch in the process of finding quality health-care facilities and the right personnel to hitch our wagons to. Feeling very fortunate to have chosen Pacific-Rim-Orthopedic-Surgeons. These folks have the entire process nailed down from soup to nuts. We have NEVER experienced this type of QUALITY care in our decades of existence. And believe me, we’ve had our share of surgeries over the years to give an educated comparison. If you’re in need of an “Orthopedic-Surgery-Procedure” of any sort, we HIGHLY-RECOMMEND these folks — you’ll be glad you gave them the opportunity to show you the difference between mediocre and excellence…! PS — just called the nurses station on day 2 after the surgery to discuss post-op medications…guess what, I wasn’t put “on-hold” for 20 minutes and transferred to multiple people who didn’t know the answers. Monica picked up my call on the 2nd ring and answered my questions straight-up without giving me the runaround. Just another example of what makes these folks BETTER than anything we’ve experienced in the past — high 5’s all the way around…couldn’t be more pleased. ✅👍🏻

Dr James H Blackburn did the surgery, but and butchered me on my left side. To start, he shaved me so deeply and roughly on my left side, that 4 weeks later I am still icing my underarm and bruised back. Underarm still swollen, and no hair dares to grow. A gash was made on left side very below breast, as if he was not sure where to put the drain, drain was placed much deeper on left. Worst part of the butchering was that he took off too much skin left side leaving a pucker on left side of left breast. Many photos taken. On other sites. He made yelp take my photo down.

Just had my cataract surgery. Dr. Dudley is an amazing doctor and a jewel among surgeons. The nurses were kind and very competent. The entire experience was surprisingly comfortable. I felt secure and grateful to have such expert care.

From the moment I walked into the building I encountered nothing but courteous and friendly staff. From the front desk, to the nurses who (I know it's part of their job, but they're darn good at it) made small talk and asked personal questions like they're truly interested to get to know their patients. They had such a hard time getting a vein for my IV that I had 3 different nurses pre-op, who were very gentle considering I was difficult to stick. I really want to shout out to my post-op/recovery nurse, Daria. She was professional but still personal. My sister and brother (out of state) were on facetime checking in on me and when she came back we were saying out "bye-love you's" and she waves to the camera "bye-love you". It felt like family was taking care of me and not gonna lie, I kind of want her to be my new bestie! What a sweet person!

Absolutely amazing staff and facility. My son had his tonsillectomy and adenoids done here by Dr. Olsen. I had great fears sending my little baby into surgery and was so pleased with the care and concern the staff rendered to me, my husband, and my son. The entire process, from check-in to leaving, was amazing. I highly recommend this facility to anyone. Great, clean, friendly atmosphere with fantastic nursing staff!
