I had a mix of septo/rhino plasty done at this hospital by Dr.Berens due to severe breathing issues . I have aetna insurance and was explain by the doctor multiple times that the surgery falls under medically necessary category and the rhinoplasty part is only included because the tip had to be rebuilt due to how deformed it was. We have sent a prior authorization to the procedure prior to even scheduling the surgery. Dr.Berens informed me that the insurance has called her and told her the surgery did not require prior authorization and was going to be 100% covered as medically necessary. Almost a year post op my insurance has denied to pay for the rhinoplasty of the procedure which sums up to 10,000$. They have also denied both of my appeals which included Dr. Berens “notes”. I am now being sent to collections by the Everett clinic for this procedure. I did not sign up for a rhinoplasty as i was not interested in changing the appearance of my nose. Nor would i see a ear nose and throat doctor for a rhinoplasty thats something a plastic surgeon is for. I was reassured countless times that this procedure is for breathing purposes. Please think twice before doing business at this clinic
The actual mammogram wasn’t bad, and the staff were courteous. However, do not go here for a screening mammogram unless you already have an Everett clinic primary care physician, because if you need a diagnostic mammogram they cannot do it or refer you to a clinic that does them. My diagnostic mammogram was delayed by a couple of months while I got things sorted (my primary care doctor had dropped me for not visiting regularly).
With how awful of a month I’ve had (broke my right index finger on top of other personal issues) ; the Everett Clinic in Edmonds has been stellar. Not only can I tell every person I’ve interacted with genuinely cares, they’ve been helpful and professional every step of the way. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for being a bright spot in a dark time of my life.
Editing my review since I've been here multiple times since my first review. Doctor Pastor is amazing and I highly recommend him for Orthopedics. I've seen him for multiple injuries and he is a skilled and patient doctor. The staff is super friendly and helpful and seem to have good processes in place. Definitely recommend!
This location always screwed up with their scheduling and runs behind. The messed up thing is if I'm late I wouldn't be seen. This isn't the first, second, third, fourth time but like the sixth time they are late. If it wasn't for my primary I would leave the EVERETT Clinic! If you have a choice, don't come here. Always issues!
