Big thank you to the Endoscopy Center at Western Washington Medical Group! I'm grateful that my primary care provider referred me to them, and everything from scheduling and check in to the completion of my first colonoscopy went as well as could be. They were super helpful with the preparation education including using Suflave, which requires much less drinking of the preparation liquid. Each of the nurses was kind and helpful and explained things simply and clearly. Lucy, the discharge nurse was especially kind and helpful. Dr. Mu and the nurse anesthetist did their job very well. Per my request, I especially appreciate that my wife was in the recovery room when I woke up from the anesthesia. I'm told they will follow up with me to see how I am doing. Will definitely consider using them again the next time a colonoscopy is needed!
Very friendly staff and informative. Came here for my wife’s medical procedure. Easy parking too. This office is on the second level. There’s an elevator and stairs.
Update - I asked everyone I talked to before the procedure if they had everything they needed from me and they said they did. After the procedure, Paceline Anesthesia claimed they needed a special authorization, that my doctor's authorization wasn't enough....like you could have a colonoscopy without it. I have told them they need to get the money from my provider Kaiser Permanente. Be careful dealing with these folks! I had a wonderful experience for my recent colonoscopy. From the courteous receptionist Tina, the two nurses named Carrie, the professional anesthesiologist and Dr Chua...my procedure was a breeze and he removed four small polyps. When I explained to the second Carrie how painful my last IV was, she talked with me and asked me if the spot she was choosing seemed good, and it was nearly painless...leaving NO bruising. It's been a week and I have had no complications. Prep, of course, is no fun but after being underfed and underslept, I felt really taken good care of by this whole team. Thank you!
My sleep apnea device was recalled due to a serious safety/health risk, so I needed an RX to allow me to buy a new device asap. I tried my sleep doc (at a different clinic) but they were too busy and booked out two months (all docs at that clinic, actually), so I contacted WWMed Group, hoping to do a telehealth call with a doctor so I could explain and have them write me an RX for this urgent/serious situation. I called and the receptionist was rude and refused to give me an appointment or even try to help with my issue. I explained that the doc/clinic I usually use for my sleep apnea RX was booked out two months and I tried other places too, and I could not find anyone else to help me, and this issue is urgent because the apnea device was recalled due to serious safety/health issue, and that I could share my medical records to prove I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and that any medical doctor can write an RX for apnea equipment (they don't have to be a specialist). Despite all of the facts of the situation, the receptionist refused to help me in any way or let me get an appointment to speak with a doctor, and told me to work it out with my sleep doc. Extremely inconsiderate and rude person who should not be working at a health care facility.
PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENCE I had a procedure done today. The nurse did not listen to me about never getting an iv or blood from my right arm/hand. I now have a swollen wrists. And on top of that they have you fill out a survey on your visit as soon as you wake up. Ummm discharge paperwork says not to do any paperwork for at least 12 hours!!!! Are they trying to get better reviews?
