The doctors and their team were amazing. My doctor was able to find me ( a person without a room on a bed in the overflow hall)!!.. He stopped by once a day and covered details of my progress, when I would be able to have my surgery, what I needed to continue doing and how my condition was progressing. He would grab a chair and sit 2 feet from my ear, discuss my progress...in an open air hallway, behind the curtain. I felt remembered, understood clearly my progress and could ask questions. There was a moment every time to ask questions and get answers.
The receptionist staff and nurse/med tech were great. The nurse/med tech told me they were running behind and would run through questions quickly, which I get and I appreciate the heads up. My problem was the doctor that came in. I don’t want to get into details because this would be extra long, but ultimately she disregarded my concerns, blamed my weight on my concerns even though I’ve done everything to fix the issues, plus me going through this same scenario and needing surgery 10 years prior. Plus I have been around the same weight for years, and the issues just started 6 or so months ago. And there is imaging showing the issue. And the doctor that did said surgery 10 years ago said I would need the surgery again in about 10 years or so. It came down to me being upset, telling her I’m in the medical field and despite her dismissal I couldn’t live my life waking up in the middle of the night getting sick which in turn sent me into an asthma attack , which kept me up long hours and made it hard to go to work. So something needed to be done. All I can say is advocate for yourself because many of these providers now a days don’t really care. You have to speak up!
The care provided at this facility is exceptional. The front desk staff are courteous, respectful, friendly, and efficient, contributing to a positive experience right from the start. Dr. Olga stands out for her informative and professional approach. She demonstrates a deep passion for patient care and is thorough in addressing all aspects of my treatment.
I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient the whole team was. The initial RN was extremely kind and patient to relieve my nervousness. After that I don't remember anything and have not felt any side effects. I'd also like to mention that the prep of Gatorade (orange flavor, zero) mixed with the MiraLAX was not an issue for me at all. Thank you all for making my first visit a semi pleasant one.
Always. A PLUS, the office is very well organized. You get your appointment right on time and I just appreciate the staff. All the staff is very patient oriented to make sure that you know you have everything you need that you know you get your next appointment scheduled I’ve never had any complaints with this office. Thank you.
