I was running late but they were so flexible and still saw me! The doctor looked at my hand/thumb, walked me through X-ray results, and sent my on my way, confident it would heal with time. Encouraged me to return if issues remain. Kind and thorough!

Excellent all the way around. The receptionist was friendly and answered all of my questions. Dr. Wagner’s nurse exceptionally friendly, answered all of my questions. Dr . Wagner was spot on. Asked many questions about what I came in for, compassionate, and proceeded with his treatment. He never used a computer in the room. All of my questions were answered without any feeling of being rushed. The last time I saw him was about 2 years ago, and he remembered non medical aspects of my life. The whole experience was the way a medical visit should proceed

Seattle hand was a second opinion for me, primarily because operations affecting my hands are a little nerve-racking. Carpal tunnel, while it sounds like a routine surgery, is kind of a big deal.. I wasn’t necessarily comfortable with what the first doctor said, and the second doctor, Elizabeth Joneschild, confirmed what the first doctor had said. Dr. Joneschild had me do the EMG analysis, which would also be a second time through for me, confirming that my nerve damage was getting worse. After the results of the EMG were in, I elected to proceed with Dr. Joneschild because she had a very good, matter of fact, ease about her. Her way of explaining the situation was easy to follow. As for day of surgery, the bedside manner of everyone in Seattle Hand was incredibly good. I felt that ease, both going in and coming out after surgery. They were very easy. Thanks again, Seattle hand and Dr. Joneschild for a job well done.

So thankful for Dr. Ting and Janelle at Seattle Hand Surgery Group! You all changed my life! After suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome for a few years in a different state and going to a different provider (doing conservative care with bracing, NSAIDs, oral steroids, and steroid injections) I was getting really frustrated with constant numbing and painful flare ups in my wrist, thumb, index finger and ring finger. When I moved to Seattle, I searched for a new provider and found Seattle Hand. Dr. Ting was kind, caring, and listened to all of my issues — and even when regular diagnosing like an EMG did not show evidence of CTS, she ordered further testing with an ultrasound that revealed the nerve being compressed. She never dismissed my concerns, was always eager to help, and gave me a truly great experience. Afterwards, we quickly scheduled surgery 2 weeks later and the operation went super smoothly. In and out in about 15 minutes and a week at home recovering with a bandage and stitches. 6 weeks later, my hand is completely back to normal and the scar is barely visible. From my first visit to getting my stitches out took about 6 months. I can feel my fingers again, I can twist doorknobs with full strength, I can tie my shoes more easily, bear down on a sheet of paper with a pen without going numb, and so much more! It’s hard to state how much these little things matter when you slowly lose the ability to do them at 25 years old. I cannot thank the team at Seattle Hand enough for their help — I couldn’t be happier.

I highly recommend Dr. Joneschild and her team! The experience with Seattle Hand Surgery Group was amazing - very responsive and supportive. I had a surgery scheduled to remove a piece of glass from my finger. During the initial intake appointment, Dr. Joneschild explained everything so I understood options to make an informed decision. I scheduled surgery for a few weeks later, however, my hand had other ideas and began swelling one afternoon during the inteim. I called that day, just before the office closed. The team asked me to send photos via email. Within minutes, we decided to reschedule so I could have surgery the next day - a day that Dr. Joneschild wasn’t even scheduled to be in the OR. I came in. She conducted the surgery as planned. It was a success, and I’m grateful for the team’s willingness to adapt their plans and schedule to meet my needs as a patient
