First time ever being put under anesthesia to have my stomach checked out and honestly, I expected to be nervous. Instead, I received a warm blanket, was rolled into a clean, softly lit room with calming music playing and the next thing I knew, I was waking up and it was already over. So quick, so peaceful and all done!
I was referred to this clinic on my inpatient discharge. I called on Friday, Jan 30th to schedule an appointment and was told that they had received the consult but that it had not yet been reviewed and that they would contact me for an appointment later that day or Monday at the latest. By Monday Feb 9th I still had not heard from them so I called and was given an appointment with Melanie Maxfield. I specifically asked if the provider was a physician and I was told that she was. After the call I looked up the clinic's providers and found out that she is a PA-C, NOT a physician. When I called back I was told "a Physician's Assistant is a physician". Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment. Not only is it unethical to represent a PA-C as a physician, I believe that it is also illegal in Washington to represent a Physician Assistant in a manner misleading to the public. Obviously, the question is begged: on what other matters does this organization misrepresent itself? I don't trust them and will go whatever distance is necessary to avoid them.
I have been a patient of Dr Parker’s for a few years. In July I had a procedure and Scan done at Rayus in Poulsbo. My tests came back with multiple issues and I called WAGI to have someone go through my test results. I was told I could pick up my documents which I did. I called several times (5) and requested to have Jennifer or another medical assistant call me back about my results. It took over 2 months to get a quick call back and the lady wouldn’t even go through my test results with me, I was told I had to wait for my appointment on October 21 . Today I was running 8 minutes behind I called on my way to let them know. When I walked in I was greeted by an extremely rude woman at the front desk ( dark curly short hair with glasses) and she said I can’t/won’t be seen today and there are no available appointments. She was extremely rude and I will not be coming back to WAGI. If they can’t call me to go through test results and then can not at least try to work with me to be seen. If you want to get treated like your care and you are not important this is your spot. DO NOT COME HERE!!
Went there a month ago and and they scheduled a prompt endoscopy. The result proved nothing. They order more tests. Got one test result 4 days ago. No one has called or messaged to discuss what they mean. Calling may get a response after a few days, or not at all. Same with thier patient portal. Messages may or may not get to who you want. There is no way to contact a specific person. So, it would seem, messages get lost. I have yet to meet with a doctor. Seems the staff are either overworked and don't have time to follow up. It's very frustrating. I've never had such poor communication with a medical facility. I would not recommend them.
Went to get my hemorrhoid looked at or even schedule surgery or get a band on it. Basically paid them to sit me down, take my blood pressure, and tell me someone else is gonna call me for scheduling. So fast forward to scheduling. They said they can fit me three months in the future so I said no thanks. So what was the point of wasting my time and money on this appointment? Not to mention I had to leave work for this
