i’m not sure if it was because i’m an L&I case or if it’s because i’m a mixed asian woman but i’ve never been so dismissed and talked down upon by a doctor in my entire life until i saw dr sestero for a second opinion on my wrist. he literally said he doesn’t care how logistically the injury happened because the images (that were taken about 6mo ago at this point) showed no significance and that “everyone is is pain sometimes”. when my friend in the room asked what i can do to improve it so i can work without this excruciating pain he said it’s not his job because he’s “a surgeon”. i’ve been in occupational therapy since my injury and do my at home exercises yet he also interrupted me as i was explaining that saying he doesn’t want to argue what i have or haven’t been doing etc. unless you’re a FOR SURE surgical case DO NOT BOOK WITH DR SESTERO!!! he doesn’t care about you unless you can be a body on the operating table.
Just had shoulder surgery with Dr. Anderson wow he is amazing! I had previously had a shoulder surgery with multi care & it was not the best experience. Dr. Anderson and his skilled team far surpassed my expectations. Absolutely excellent care both pre & post op! Thank you Dr Anderson!
EDIT NW Ortho told me they filed an appeal, filed one missing a signature. When insurance notified them to correct the problem in order for it to be reviewed... they did NOTHING except wait until the deadline passed. They refuse to take responsibility for their failure. I had to retain an attorney to to address the problem. The staff was friendly and helpful until you get to billing issues. They billed me for the full cost of my procedure after insurance denied coverage. (procedure can be covered with proper documentation as to why it was necessary) They failed to get my signature for the appeal. Insurance requested they correct the problem and resubmit, they took NO action and did not inform me. They waited to do anything further until a month after the appeal deadline passed, meaning it can no longer be appealed. Every time I try to speak with someone, I'm told someone will call me... STILL waiting. I've called and sent chart messages. I had to go into their office and force a meeting. They refused to own their mistakes. I'm still dealing with them. If you use them, verify yourself that insurance will cover you, do not rely on them to do what's right.
Very rude. They seem to question you, doubt you. Why should you doubt patients, you’re getting paid to help us figure out ways to fix whatever pain we’re having. If you don’t want to listen to patients or have the patience to deal with them then why be a doctor?
Andrew was very patient in explaining and showing me what the X-rays, MRI and CT showed in a way that was very easy to understand. No rush. I felt that I and my medical issue was important to him, not just a number. I'm comfortable and trust his opinion and suggestions.
