Got denied care because of my BMI. Not my health, not my labs — just a number. Apparently, this clinic believes digestive issues only happen to people under a BMI of 40. Must be nice practicing medicine from the 1990s when BMI was still considered science. If your equipment or policies can’t accommodate real bodies, maybe upgrade your clinic instead of rejecting patients who actually need help.

I’ve had a great experience with Dr. P and have been extremely happy with my care. He is very knowledgeable and stays on top of new research coming out. I’ve always felt treated like a person here and not just another name on the roster. I used to have some issues with callbacks and reschedules as other people have mentioned but he has since addressed that and his new assistants are great. I’ve been to several GI doctors and I feel safe saying this is one of the good ones who wants to see patient improvement.

No follow through, I had multiple emails/calls that were originally answered, but the information never made it to the doctor or into my chart. I found Dr P to be very dismissive and unhelpful. 10 months after a procedure I got a huge bill for anesthesia, but the person they use for anesthesia is not listed anywhere on their website so you can't check networking prior to your procedure. The anesthesiologist has a different insurance network than the clinic and no one tells you (or if they do, it's at the time of the procedure when you have a million other things in your head). If I need a GI in the future I will be seeking care elsewhere. Do not recommend this office.

My first time here last week, I had to have the dreaded top & bottom tests. I am a huge baby, my veins are terrible and I hate needles. My anxiety level is through the roof, to put it mildly! From the time I walked in, Mary was so kind and compassionate! It did not end there, Molly, Debbie and Kimber all showed me incredible kindness, in a society that most of the time seems to have forgotten what that even means! They held my hand, talked to me and showed immense compassion! Dr. P was easy to talk to and kind. Upon waking up, Debbie and Molly again were there for me. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this team! Bonus, they play old people music!! It's a great atmosphere and team and I thank you all, sincerely, from my heart!

Finally getting some answers for my stomach problems. Dr P is great. He is patient and kind. He makes sure I understand everything and actually takes the time to talk to me. The rest of the staff is great too. Have an upper endoscopy done and they made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on the entire time I was awake. Great staff, great Dr, would highly recommend. Update- I've been seeing Dr. P for awhile now. I still stand by my review and still see him while trying to pin down what exactly is going on. That being said, the majority of my appointments have been rescheduled. The day completely changed. Not even given the option to go in on the same day. Sometime I would get a call on a Monday for a Friday appointment sometimes I'd get a call on Wednesday when my appointment was Thursday. Very very frustrating since I am coming from out of town. Definitely don't recommend if you have a schedule you are trying to fit these appointments into. Still recommend Dr p. But make sure your schedule is WIDE open for them to change everything on you.
