Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

What an excellent place to get your surgery done. The nurses and the staff are absolutely amazing in their care and follow up! I wouldn't pick any where else to have a procedure completed.

I had a cortisone injection in my back by Dr Greenberg. What a fantastic place to go! Everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable & professional. Thanks to Rich, Cherie, John, Dani, Shaena & Matt. Dr. Greenberg answered all my questions & explained things thoroughly & at a level I could understand. I would definitely go back here again if I need further treatment on my back.

Thank you so much to The entire staff. I was hesitant when I saw that the facility looked like a clinic versus a hospital. I don’t regret any minute, I was there. The staff was unbelievable. Everyone was so thorough and professional. I would’ve never known, I wasn’t in a hospital. My primary nurse that I had throughout the beginning and the end was phenomenal. I would recommend Dr. Chabot and all the staff. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you again Cherie,Diane, Kim, Dani, Aaron, Alli, Matt, Ben, Rich, Dr Chabot. Not all heroes wear capes!

I can’t say enough to adequately express how wonderful my experience was with the staff at Advanced Spine Center. From the moment we arrived at 5:30 am to the time we left in the mid-afternoon, each and every team member there was thoughtful, courteous, understanding, warm, and professional. My procedure was a discectomy and fusion of my C6 & C7 vertebrae. There wasn’t a moment of time while there that any one of the care team gave me reason to be anything but confident in their ability to get me through the day. The facility itself is, by nature, clinical, but still calming. Team members Amber, who got me through my pre-op, and Diane, who got me through my post-op period, we’re just two names I can remember. If they read this, I want them to know how grateful I am of their attention to their healing roles. My wife was treated graciously and kept up to date throughout my surgery. She was made comfortable and her questions were airway answered. I can’t say I’d ever want to go through this experience again, but if I do, this is the facility and care providers I want guiding me through it.

The staff here is outstanding-great people! Had a fusion done Oct. '20 and very happy I chose this facility. Every individual I encountered was excellent at their role and the care I received was far better than what one would get in a hospital setting. Time was taken to explain every step of the process far beyond my expectations. Hope to never need surgery again, but would absolutely choose this facility again.
