Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

If you have a surgery here, you are in great hands!! Everyone was kind, patient, and gentle. I felt safe and well taken care of from the moment I scheduled surgery until after I got home. They make checking in and preparing super easy to navigate. If I had to have surgery again I would hope it’s at this facility!

My daughter had a total knee replacement last week at this ortho facility. The surgery went well so this is no reflection on the surgeon. The staff however, as well as the center is unacceptable for proper care. My daughter has a few stairs she must navigate and I was surprised to find out they do not have the portable practice stairs. Really? At an ortho center? She did take a long time in recovery but the nursing staff released her without having her try to walk. When she got home, she took her sweater off and she still had the iv in her arm. Her knee buckled and she fell four times, resulting in a ligament tear and opened stitches. I would think that being released without walking practice, she should have had an immobilizer. The next day she had surgery again to repair the damage. This time at Oasis Hospital…what a different experience! Wonderful caring staff that kept me up to speed during the procedure and afterward. All fixed and an immobilizer finally given to her for stability and lessons for stair usage with the walker. Use this facility if at all possible.

My daughter had hand surgery here today. Staff was fantastic even prior to today answering my nervous mom questions. Can't say enough good things for all the staff and nurses, I was nervous about using a surgery center for my 11 year old, but they were amazing. Definitely recommend this center.
