Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Everything is first rate and excellent!! I had knee meniscus tear repair with Dr. Lee. Excellent experience, from check in, pre op prep, operation, and post op. I’m totally satisfied. Entire staff was thoroughly professional, pleasant, and competent. Kudos to Lori Smith, Dr. Lee. Dr. Katz, Evelyn and Candace who all did an awesome job!! The place is modern, clean, and everything I could expect, and more. I can highly recommend all involved, thank you all!!!

I had a meniscus root tear repair and a small ACL tear repair with Dr. Liles. He is amazing. I want to give a shout out to all involved in my care—hope I get it correctly recalled. Mariam was my preop RN. Thanks for being so kind and your IV skills were amazing. Mike the circulating nurse put me at ease. Felt very comfortable with anesthesiologist, Dr. Silver. To the post-op RN—I don’t know your name because I don’t even remember my husband driving me home, but thank you for recovering me and getting me 100% ready to go home. You told my husband I was a chatty Kathy—sorry. I don’t get out much and I guess anesthesia does that to me. You’re awesome and thanks. Thank you to Logan for the calls checking on me. You’re also awesome.

I had major shoulder surgery in August of 2023, my husband had knee surgery in November of 2023, and I had knee surgery in May of 2024. Same pre-op bed, nurses, and Dr. Zeman. Dr. Zeman is amazing! We think we now own stock in the facility:-). Amazing service - we are hard sticks with the IV's. The nurses remember and when I remind them of the curve in the vein, they looked as they remembered! Good help is hard to find and keep these days - refreshing to see the same staff here! Great care!

I had my knee replacement a week ago. The person checking me in was pleasant, efficient and friendly. The staff in the back were professional, helpful, friendly, respectful and efficient. My anesthesiologist was awesome. I had an overall great experience. The surgery center so far has called me everyday for 4 days. To check in on me. I was told today they would call back in 2 weeks for my next follow-up call. I'm so impressed at the great care I have had through this whole process. I look forward to having my other knee replacement scheduled in 7 weeks. I would definitely give more stars if it was allowed.

The care I received was amazing. The care I received was kind and caring and specific to what I wanted and needed. The nurses surgeon and the anesthesiologist listened and understood my requests and how I wanted to do things and where there was room for flexibility they gave. Beyond that I could just tell that everyone really cared :-). As a result of all this I healed quickly and had a great outcome the surgery was very successful.
