Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

If I could give this clinic zero stars I would. My first experience with this clinic was terrible. My dad and I arrived 45 minutes prior to my appointment and didn't get called back until it was an hour and 30 minutes past my appointment time. I watched as patient after patient got taken back even if their appointment was after my scheduled time. It wasn't till I was the last one in the waiting room that I got called. Then the experience I had with the anesthesia the following day's appointment was horrible. Usually I do well with anesthesia but whatever they gave me made me feel really off and I didn't like it one bit. I never want to go here again but Mountain View changed their policies so now it isn't about patient's comfort but what corporate and billing want. So any procedure you get done now can't be at your preferred location but has to be at their Surgical Specialists even if you've had a bad experience and don't feel safe or comfortable going there. Sorry everyone and thank you for listening to my vent.

Been coming here since they opened at this location. Sadly I’ve had 4 terrible experiences with 3 different doctors now and 1 anesthesiologist. Most recently yesterday. I felt attacked about something I said ( that I had pain) under anesthesia! I couldn’t believe that the doctor told me I gave him miss information while I was under anesthesia! I’m so upset and upset about this recent incident. I doubt I’ll ever go back. While the staff is great for the most party there are those few that have a God complex! And ability to treat patients badly!

Horrible scheduling experience. No one seemed to be on the same page, and there was a clear lack of communication between the call center and the surgical center. I was later informed by Call center Manger Mike that a policy change took place in August, yet no one made me aware of this change. As a result, there was over a week and a half of back-and-forth communication, which ultimately caused an unnecessary delay in my treatment. Due to this change, I am now required to pay more for services I have been receiving for years, as they can no longer be completed at the Interquest office and must instead be done at a surgical center.

The whole staff was awesome Very professional initiative and polite. Definitely made me feel very comfortable and great personalities! My only frustration was I was scheduled the same time as three other people so definitely sucked having to wait my turn. Other than that, definitely recommend this place

Everyone at the Denver location of Mountain View Surgical Specialists is warm and kind and very skilled! I've had several different procedures done there and each experience has been wonderful! They are very efficient and consistently run on schedule(which is a feat in and of itself!) I highly recommend them and I will not go anywhere else for treatments - they are THE BEST!
