Bonita Springs Surgery Center uses unfair, unethical & unprofessional business practices in the operation of their business. My wife had surgery back in January 2025 and they made us pay a deductible of over $3,000 however, when they submitted the claim to our insurance company, the used the wrong pre-authorization cost code so the claim was immediately rejected. Since this has never been processed by the insurance company, BSSC is holding over $3,000 of my money that they are refusing to return to me until they get paid by the insurance company. This was BSSC's fault for filing an improper claim and I should not be out over $3,000 for over 90 days due to their mistake. As info, the owed deductible is less than $300 so, if they would refund me the balance, that would be agreeable. No resolution from BSSC, third party billing company NSN billing refuses to answer the phone, won't return phone calls, etc. Have filed formal complaint through our insurance company as well as the ACHA Florida Insurance Division as well and will continue to file complaints until we get our $3,000 back!

It’s a clean, updated Facility. The staff were friendly. My out patient surgery went well. Post surgery I felt very rushed to leave and wasn’t given discharge instructions, nor ice pack, nor an emesis bag which I really needed coming out of anesthesia. Procedure was Tuesday morning @8 didn’t get a follow up call until Thursday late afternoon which felt very generic. I also figured out why my left side was itching…an electrode was left attached on my skin underneath the sling & brace that was placed on me in recovery and was causing a rash…. Maybe if there wasn’t such a rush in turn around time they would have noticed their errors.

First time @ Center and so impressed with facility, front desk and staff. Everyone comforting thru out procedures. Compassionate care. Dr Schnee gave me assurance along the way and laser focused in attacking my area of pain.

Bonita Surgery Center is very clean and my nurse, Kate was wonderful. Dr. Johnson did a fantastic job on my right shoulder. I feel so much better now and so happy with my Orthopedic Physician pick. I know 2 other patients of his and they absolutely love Dr. Johnson!

I’m not sure why it’s only showing one review, pretty certain there were more a year ago+ when I was consulting with them. They did fantastic having someone call me promptly, after sending in my MRIs, to go over their treatment option they had for me. However, I had some in depth questions that I wanted in depth answers for. I mean I’m early 30’s with a medical background and getting closer and closer feeling paralyzed and being more and more restricted as the days go on. I wanted to feel 30 again! I needed something asap. I explained to them I was also looking into Dr. Pauza’s DiscSeel procedure, which doesn’t remove ANYTHING and adds ZERO hardware! Bonita’s explanations became questionable, to me. So, the doctor calls and I explained to them, they became unsupportive, said they’d never heard of DiscSeel, and suggested it doesn’t sound like a good or successful treatment. I went with my gut, and went with Dr. Pauza’s DiscSeel instead of Bonita-it was 💯% the best decision ever and it actually fixed alll of my torn, herniated, degenerative “diseased” discs in both my neck and back, sciatica, headaches, brain fog, and much more!!! I am now very confident that the surgery Bonita was going to sell me, would not have fixed my neck and back issues and I’d be WORSE today compared to where I was prior to my surgery with Dr. Pauza.
