Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Procedure list is based on CMS-reported specialty designations. Contact the facility to confirm specific procedures offered.

I have visited this office multiple times and every time my weight is from 45 minutes to an hour before I enter their office. I consider my time to be valuable as well. I have left this office twice with the same issue and I have been canceled once with a similar issue. I do not recommend this office in anyway please find a different doctor.

I first saw Dr. Carolina Orbay, in September due to a hand issue, we injected cortisone which helped immensely but we knew the solution might not be permanent. I came back in today, almost 8 months later bc the pain was ever so slight and I wanted her guidance on what to do to prevent the need for surgery if we could. She took the time to give me different things that I can do now to help my pain get better. She was very patient and kind with how she spoke to me and she explained everything well. The staff was also a pleasure to me. I was able to make my appointment quickly, I arrived before my appointment time and was brought in at exatly my appointment time and not 5 min later I was with the doctor. At check out, the ladies were very kind and warm. I had surgery for the same issue on my right hand in 2011 (before becoming a dentist). I had surgery with Dr. Jorge Orbay. That surgery went well and my issues were resolved. Very much recommend them, I NEED my hands to work and make a living and I genuinely trust them with my hands

My mother, an elderly, legally blind woman called for an appointment because she has an infection on her finger. With diabetes, this is a danger. They wanted her to send a picture of her Medicaid card to book the appointment. This is an h technological, 76 year old, half blind women. Needless to say, I had to call back and was fortunate enough to get an appointment on the same day at 3. We arrived to no one in the reception window. A few minutes later the ladies arrived and asked us to fill out the million forms and the cards. Money first unfortunately in our society. We were brought inside a room at 3:38 and at 4:41 are still waiting. Regardless of doctor attention, this place is. Horrible and I don’t recommend j to anyone. After two hours, they tell me he’s in surgery Don’t waste your time with the unprofessionalism of this office.

Received multiple automated and live calls and texts confirming appt and then reminding me. Then had to wait 3 hours to see nurse and later Dr Rubio. They were very good. Their practice management is deplorable! If I ran my business like they do I would be out of business. But they don't have enough competition to make them bother to improve.

Dr. Hoffler performed a 4-Corner Fusion 5 months ago. Everything is healing nicely and I'm getting back into my yoga practice with few limitations. The pain level has gone from an 8 down to a 2 (out of 10) and improving as time goes by. The 2" scar is barely noticeable. I consider the operation a huge success. Thankfully, Dr. Hoffler clearly explained all my options, so there were no surprises. I am 100% happy!!! Thank you!!!! 10/11/22 Update: The pain level is still very low - from 0 to 2. However, I've given up on my yoga practice because of the frustration of not having the flexibility I once had. I can no longer do pushups without using a bar. Therefore, trying to do a flow in my yoga practice brings pain in my wrist since I can't easily use a bar going from down-dog to up-dog. I'm still happy with having the procedure done, but it's important to note there might be flexibility issues even after doing extensive physical therapy.
