I had retina surgery 5 days ago. The outcome is still evolving so I can’t speak to that, but I was impressed with the attentiveness and attitude of the staff involved. The process began right at the appointed time. Getting all the preop survey done ahead of time was nice. One suggestion would be to be able to see the release forms online at the same time even if we need to sign them in person

I can’t recommend this facility enough. Had cataract surgery there the past two weeks. Different staff both times. Everyone is so professional and so nice. Instantly felt at ease. Well taken care of.

If I could rate the St. Andrews Surgery Center team a six (6), I would. From the moment I arrived, to my time of departure post-surgery, the professionals at St. Andrews exceeded my every expectation. We are so fortunate to have St. Andrews in our community.

They did not have the proper equipment on hand for my scheduled surgery. I was scheduled first procedure of the day and was moved to third as I waited hours in pre-op for the equipment to arrive. Then they chose to lie, telling the cases after me they were moved up the schedule because the first case canceled! No, I was there in the bed behind the curtain listening to lies and whispers. My arm was terribly bruised for a week following due to the nurse blowing my vein in her failed attempt to start the IV. I was also given incorrect discharge instructions. I requested to be contacted by management to discuss and all I have received is a bill because they miscalculated what I should have paid day of surgery. If they are willing to lie about their scheduling error what else will they lie about???

I had a Vitrectomy (removal of floaters) in my right eye by Dr… Kiernan, with the Eye Associates of Venice. The procedure was done at St. Andrews and I must say it was a great experience! The nurses were all so kind and caring as was the anesthesiologist! I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect but I never felt a thing! I can see clearly again now out of my right eye! Thank you Dr. Kiernan and the staff!!
