Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Procedure list is based on CMS-reported specialty designations. Contact the facility to confirm specific procedures offered.

The surgical, nursing and physical therapy teams at TJS are top notch. I received excellent and prompt attention upon entering the building. David (with PT) was excellent. You will be in good, efficient, professional hands here IMO.

My preliminary visit to Dr Gupta’s office prior to a hip replacement was as expected as I researched his practice in advance. I verified what other patients had experienced but now through my own. I am an internal medicine physician still in practice and very much detail oriented. Dr Gupta is the type of physician which is difficult to find nowadays. He has many qualities mixed into his gentle and attentive demeanor in addition to his surgical experience and professional education. Additionally, his office staff is also a reflection of his leadership , pleasant and service oriented. We are lucky to have him serving the Canton community. D. Fallon, MD

Great first experience with Dr. Gupta. The office was one of the cleanest offices I have ever seen. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Dr Gupta was very courteous and professional and took time to explain in detail his assessment of my situation and provided me various options for moving forward. Looking forward to having Dr. Gupta perform my surgery.

Great experience with Dr. Gupta as always. He did my left hip two years ago and it has been fantastic. Dr. Gupta takes his time and really wants to know how the hip is working and whether there are any issues or concerns. Highly recommend him!

From the check-in online to the office upfront check in, everything went smoothly. The X-ray tech is very courteous, making sure I was comfortable. I usually see Dr. Jeffrey Garrett, who was my surgeon, and on this follow-up he didn't disappoint. He was thorough and kindly listened to my concerns as well as answered any questions I had. I'd gladly recommend him. :)
