Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

I can’t say enough nice things about this office! The staff checking me in is always polite and friendly. All of the providers are top notch but there’s something extra special about Michele Chen NP. She radiates kindness, compassion, and love. She has helped me more than any provider than I have seen. Being in pain constantly is tough in many ways and it takes a toll on your mental health too. Michele always takes the time to listen and to show that she really does care. She shows that what she does is more than just a job. I appreciate that more than I can ever express.

Always friendly, attentive and efficient. Everything they've done for me was done with care. I'm glad they're my doctors in this area of need. I have several Dr's for different issues. I never dread coming here. I can't say that about some of the others.

The staff was amazingly helpful. He kept in touch with me, answered all my questions. Everyone smiles, and seems very concerned about their patients. Yes, I like them.

At first was disappointed with the wait time- my procedure started an hour and a half after it was scheduled for, but all of the disappointment went out the window as soon as I met the medical staff. Dr. Hubert Pare and his team might be my favorite medical professionals I’ve ever come across. They were so kind, made my injection process as pain free and seamless as possible, and were so professional. Truly the entire staff in the back of the house were such good vibes and made the whole process a breeze. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Pare and co! Thanks again!
