Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Procedure list is based on CMS-reported specialty designations. Contact the facility to confirm specific procedures offered.

Dr. Martin was thorough in his evaluation. He explained my condition in an easy to understand dialog. He gave my husband and me a detailed plan for my care. Dr. Martin and his staff eased our concerns with their knowledge and caring bedside manners. The whole team is stellar.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Williams, Dr. Crawford and Dr. Blum. I, unfortunately, had a complicated gallbladder issue between Christmas and New Years (2025). Dr. Blum saw me in the ER on 12/28, explaining to me what was going on. Dr. Crawford advocated for me to hasten the removal of a gallstone on 12/29 by a GI MD. I was so grateful to him due to the pain I was in and the issues the blockage was causing. Dr. Williams and Dr. Crawford worked together to remove my gallbladder on 12/30. They both came to my room the next day to explain everything to me and my husband. Dr. Blum discharged me on New Years Day and he again took the time to make sure we understood everything before I went home. The next week, I saw Dr. Williams and the NP in the office to have a drain removed and they very thoroughly explained the pathology to me. I hate that I had to meet them this way but was very thankful they were there during this time.

First time meeting Dr. Martin, I saw comments that he was patient, explained everything and answered questions. I found all of this to be true. He talked to me until my fears were calmed.

This was my first visit for a consult. My PCP had been trying to get imaging (CT scan) approved by my insurance and couldn’t get it so I was referred to Dr Mullis. He is obviously a PRO and seasoned in the best way without being jaded! A few pushes and pokes and 5 minutes later Dr Mullis had a very clear idea of what was going on. He was honest about options and made me feel so comfortable and said we weren’t going to waste time and money on further testing! He gave me the game plan and I left knowing I was going to be very well cared for and feeling confident I was in good hands! I can’t sing his praises enough! Thanks Dr Mullis! You are amazing!
