Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Breast Augmentation / ReductionBreast size is increased by placing implants, or decreased by removing breast tissue and skin and repositioning the remaining tissue. Reduction is often performed to relieve back, neck, and shoulder pain caused by breast weight.RhinoplastySurgery that reshapes the nose by altering the bone and cartilage beneath the skin. It is performed to change appearance, to correct breathing problems caused by internal structure, or both. Swelling takes months to fully resolve.FaceliftLiposuctionFat is suctioned out from beneath the skin through small tubes called cannulas, reshaping a specific area such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs. It targets localized deposits and is a contouring procedure rather than a method of weight loss.Wound ReconstructionRebuilds skin and underlying tissue where a wound is too large or too damaged to close directly. Surgeons move nearby tissue, or transfer skin and muscle from elsewhere on the body, to cover the defect. Often follows trauma, infection, or cancer removal.Skin GraftingHealthy skin is taken from one area of the body and transplanted to cover a wound or burn elsewhere. Both the graft site and the donor site need care, and the donor site is often the more uncomfortable of the two.

I made an appointment with Dr. Maddali as I was told I wouldn’t have to pay the $150 consultation fee as I already had seen him previously and paid the fee. I was told he was booked for a few months and asked to be on a cancelation list as I’d have to pay the $150 again if I saw a different Dr. There was a cancelation the following week so I took the appointment. Day of the appointment, I was told an hour prior that I had to reschedule. I was rescheduled the following week for 7:45AM. Then I was rescheduled again the day prior for 8am. Upon arrival, I was told I had to pay the $150. I told the receptionist that I was informed I wouldn’t have to repay the consult fee as I already payed prior. She then led me into the room where a nurse came in to tell me that the $150 fee was owed and the assistant whom I booked the appointment with was new and didn’t know. I said that I would not pay the fee just on principle. The nurse said I wish they would just waive it and let me go speak with Dr. Maddali to see what he says. Upon her return she said that he would not see me. This was such a waste of my time and due to all the rescheduling and not doing the right thing as I believe there is a code of conduct that should be followed. I would advise others to never see this Dr. I also had to wait 40min over my scheduled time. Dr. Maddali wasn’t even there when I arrived to my appointment on time. Such a horrible experience and now I know why this office doesn’t have a very good star rating. Very upsetting!

Update 12/18/25: come to find out, the scheduler for Dr. Turko was NOT on vacation at all. I had to call back again this week (two weeks after my initial consult) because I still hadn’t gotten a call back and it turns out their surgical center flooded “a couple of weeks ago”. But why the reception staff and other scheduling staff wouldn’t have said that and instead say Turko’s scheduler was on vacation for a week is beyond me. She was out for one day. Really poor communication in this practice and as you can see from their generic response they don’t seem really concerned with improving it. Original review: Dr. Turko and his surgical team are wonderful. The new facility is beautiful. But be warned - if the scheduler for your particular surgeon is on vacation apparently no one fills in for anyone so you need to wait until that scheduler returns from their time off. This recently happened to me - went in on a Thursday for a consult and was told the scheduler would call me. The following Wednesday I called them since I had received no call. I was told the scheduler was busy so they’d leave her a message. Called again the next day (Thursday) only to be informed the scheduler is now on vacation until the following Wednesday and that no one else could do her job, I guess. Weird way to do business. I don’t recall it being this challenging for a prior procedure a few years ago.

Dr. Kutz and his whole team were FANTASTIC!! He listened to my concerns, explained all my options, and answered all my questions in detail. I never once felt rushed. Everyone from the office to the pre op/post op staff was kind, responsive, and supportive. It was such a positive environment. Only 2 weeks post op and hands down the best decision I’ve ever made!! Can’t recommend Dr. Kutz and the Hand and Plastics team enough!!

I had a breast augmentation performed by Dr. Hickle. After breastfeeding three kids, I experienced some sagging and desired an augmentation, but not a lift, as I scar easily and understood that a lift involves more incisions. Dr. Hickle was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. She understood my desires and had the expertise to achieve the results I wanted. Choosing the right breast volume and projection can be overwhelming, each option looks different on various body types. That's why it's essential to select a plastic surgeon you can trust. Ultimately, you need to have faith in your surgeon to make the right decisions. Dr. Hickle definitely made the right choice for me, and I am absolutely obsessed with my new breasts!

The care at Plastic and Hand is top notch. I went in for a medically needed surgery. Dr Kutz does wonderful work and really listens. His work is amazing. There are a team of Nurse Practitioners that are very attentive and informative if you need aftercare in between your check ups with your surgeon. The clerical staff are friendly and a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Plastic and Hand.
