Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

Dr. Lee is great! Phenomenal bedside manner. I was at ease during my procedure, engaged in conversation with Dr.Lee. Dr. Lee is very professional and knows his craft and does it with such perfection. The epidural injection in my spine went very smoothly and the process was effortless. I highly recommend him for pain management.

Dr. Lee and his staff are fabulous. I never have to wait long for procedures. they are friendly and efficient. The nurse who takes our blood pressure before and after the procedure and makes sure we are okay to leave is super nice, has a calm manner about him, and gives the entire room a positive vibe. I can sense his smile even through his mask which helps anxious patients like me. I am grateful for all of the employees here.

Dr. Lee and his staff were so kind, compassionate, and helpful. From the front desk staff being so thorough with whom to send my information to. To the young lady in the back that got me ready for my procedure. I have no family or friends here so it really meant a little bit more to me than most as to how attentive they were to my needs. They made my surgical procedure a pure breeze. Thank you Dr. Lee and staff. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ™Œ
