Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

My appointment went well, my waiting time was fine, checking in everyone was helpful and courteous..xray techs were great. Dr. Adler was kind and very thoughtful , I felt listened to and both my partner and I had our questions answered. I felt Dr.. We went to urgent care at NEOS in Springfield today. The receptionist was polite, courteous and funny. The provider was absolutely amazing, thoughtful and kind. Unfortunately, when we were brought into the room, the medical assistant never locked computer. The computer unprotected with no password Opened with a list of every single patient who had been seen that day. We were alone in the room with the unlocked computer for roughly 15 minutes. If we had so chosen, we could’ve gone into every single patient’s chart and gotten all of their personal information. I did tell the medical assistant about the error. At which point she minimize the tabs. Said the provider prefers it when everything is open. Left the room and again did not lock the computer. So while the provider was amazing, my concern with New England Orthopedic Surgeons Inc is that The staff are not HIPPA Compliant. Patient privacy should be a priority.

I really enjoyed Haley's knowledge and recommendations. She's a very caring provider who truly had concern for what my particular ailment is and gave me the best advice to alleviate them The medical profession could take a lesson from the way Hailey approaches her patients. Thank you for all those there who treated us with respect, care & concern. As well as their great demeanor!

Dr Cameron Card was very nice. Explained what I did to my shoulder in a way I could understand and a plan to make it better. The supervisor at the front window was wonderful. She made sure that I was seen today & helped with the health insurance issues. Very nice staff
