Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

ColonoscopyA flexible camera examines the full length of the colon to screen for cancer and remove polyps before they become cancerous. Done under sedation, it typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. The bowel prep the day before is the part most patients find hardest.Upper Endoscopy (EGD)A thin camera passed through the mouth examines the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine. Used to investigate persistent heartburn, difficulty swallowing, unexplained bleeding, or abdominal pain. Usually takes 15 to 30 minutes under sedation.Flexible SigmoidoscopyExamines the lower portion of the colon only, rather than its full length. Preparation is lighter than a full colonoscopy and sedation is sometimes unnecessary, but it cannot detect problems higher in the colon.Capsule EndoscopyYou swallow a vitamin-sized camera that photographs the small intestine as it passes through — a region that standard scopes cannot easily reach. There is no sedation and no recovery. The capsule passes naturally, and images are reviewed after the fact.ERCPCombines endoscopy and X-ray imaging to diagnose and treat blockages in the bile and pancreatic ducts, most often gallstones stuck in a duct. Unlike a routine endoscopy, it carries a meaningful risk of pancreatitis afterward, so it is used when treatment is likely rather than for screening alone.Hemorrhoid TreatmentShrinks or removes swollen veins in the rectum and anus using rubber band ligation, injection, or surgical removal depending on severity. Banding is quick and typically requires no anesthesia; surgical removal is more effective for advanced cases but recovery is noticeably more uncomfortable.

I thought the colonoscopy and endoscopy there was super easy. They are on time, and the whole staff was very kind. For what it was it went great.

There is zero communication. They used to proactively schedule appointments for infusions. I’ve been feeling terrible and realized it’s been 3 months since my last infusion. I wish there were other options, they do not care about their patients well being.

I saw Dr. April Grudell for my first ever colonoscopy and had a great experience. All of the staff were great and truly cared about you and your comfort. Very professional and truly put my mind at ease. The prep was easy peasy and the procedure itself was even easier! Highly recommend this clinic.

Call ahead with my insurance to understand what my diagnostic code would be for billing purposes for my procedure to prepare financially. They gave us two codes. Got great results which I was told would be 100% covered over the phone and then ended billed 75% covered. I also got billed twice because they used two different doctors to monitor anesthesia for a short procedure. I called to confirm my insurance understood what I took from the call and they completely agreed and had it documented. I called MNGI and got passed around, had to circle back again and they said they escalated it to be reviewed. I checked in with the gal and they said they were auditing it and never called me back. A few weeks later I got a letter in the mail stating they reviewed it and I still owed the money and that I should have reviewed my packet ahead of time. I reviewed my packet ahead of time, I didn't quite understand it so that's why I went to the source! How disappointing that they can provide inaccurate information and bill for multiple unnecessary doctors and still expect you to pay. $500+ bill that I was told originally would be paid. Will never go back to this provider.

I'm not happy; the company that's sending out test kits is not sending out complete test kits,I keep reporting it but no response or no new kit . I'm not happy at all how this place response to people,no respect, not caring ,no details are given on how to do things. It feel like I'm at bad fast food restaurant with poor service. I don't think I should be treated like a low life peace of garbage. I need to find a better, respectable, kind place that's going to help me ! Not treat me like a abandoned dog . May God bless you all with the Holy Spirit. You must first believe in Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior AMEN
