Initially they didn't review my insurance correctly so I had to use the voicemail they left me to get the pricing I was quoted when I booked. Then despite setting up an automatic payment plan with them they sent me to collections. I have never had anything go to collections in my life. I spent hours of my time arguing with them to get them to honor the bait and switch pricing they told me before surgery. Now who knows what I will have to deal with because they sent me to collections. Awful all around.

No rating applicable for the Woodbury Surgery Center. Upon arriving for an emergency surgery - we were given a non-stated contract outlining the bill for the surgery would need to be paid up front 100% before running insurance coverage. This would've been a $2500.00 payment up front before a two-hour surgery. Upon leaving the hospital, I did not receive a bill for close to three months. When receiving the bill, we had received 4 separate bills from 4 different departments/hospitals totaling over $4,000.00 this was also undisclosed: University of Minnesota, Anesthesiologist, Hudson Hospitals and Clinics, and Woodbury Surgery Center. We were told that it would be significantly cheaper by staff at the clinic to have the surgery performed at this site... Upon going to pay my bill they would only take full payment - no payment plans were offered. Fast forward 10 months and between my wife and myself calling in and disputing charges on the account over a dozen times - we have received multiple bills with incorrect totals, dates, and needless to say that the website for online payments was not active - the billing department has proved to be close to worthless. No one should ever step foot into this place. They will take total advantage of their clients - luckily, I refused to sign the billing contract that was given to my wife pre-surgery. Money hungry medical practices that have no sense of professionalism. At all costs - go to a hospital and get taken care - not by a third-party business.

I had a nose surgery done yesterday and the entire staff was the absolute best! From a warm greeting when I walked in to a very helpful women assisting me from waking up to walking out. Everyone including the dr’s and nurse’s was extremely helpful. Mr John the gentleman that helped me get settled in is a absolute beauty. Great energy and has a few good jokes too. He got my IV deal in with one try and I could barely feel it. I would highly recommend this location. I sure don’t wanna “slip on the ice” again but if I ever do I know where I’ll be headed. Thank you for being welcoming and caring for me. I hardly write reviews but you all were so amazing I had to. Keep being great.. From: Steven S

Before having my surgery here, I contacted them to discuss their poor reviews. Please do the same. The reviews do not fit how they operate in 2021. They were fantastic to deal with and kept in contact with me all the way up to & past my surgery. I knew weeks in advance the costs associated with my surgery and had the option to pay prior to having my surgery (which I did). The nurses, anesthesiologist, & staff there are AMAZING! You could not ask for a better team to take care of you. My significant other now requires surgery and we found a clinic which works with WSS so we can work with their team again.

Had two procedures done here today, and all the staff was AMAZING! My nurses were so nice and comforted me when I got an anxiety attack before the procedure. Even the anesthesiologist was so nice and reassured me I was going to be ok. I was given an anti anxiety medicine, to calm me down, and everything went smoothly from there. Overall the care and attention I received here was top notch. Also, I don’t think it’s fair that the only thing people are focusing on when they give their reviews, is the problems with the anesthesiologist billing.
