Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

I mistakenly paid too much for a procedure because I misread a bill sent to me in a text that I had a hard time seeing. When I pointed out my mistake they refused to refund my money.

Subject: Unacceptable Treatment at Your Facility I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the way I was treated during my recent interaction with your organization. As a hardworking American who unfortunately lacks health insurance, I reached out to your facility in the hopes of obtaining the assistance I desperately needed. However, instead of being met with compassion and understanding, I was made to feel like nothing more than a source of revenue. The financial coordinator, Judy, repeatedly pressured me to provide payment upfront, even before an appointment could be scheduled. Her relentless demands for money, money, money made it abundantly clear that your organization cares more about profits than the well-being of your patients. This is completely unacceptable. At a time when I was already feeling vulnerable and in need of help, I was treated like garbage, as if my concerns and struggles were of no importance to you. Many Americans, myself included, are facing difficult financial circumstances due to the lack of affordable healthcare options. We deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not dismissed as mere dollar signs. I urge you to reevaluate your policies and the way your staff interacts with patients in need. Healthcare should be about providing care and support, not exploiting people's misfortunes. I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback to heart and make the necessary changes to ensure that no one else has to endure the same callous treatment that I experienced. Sincerely, Michelle Booth
