Dr. Kramer and his staff are simply amazing. You’d be hard pressed to find this level of professionalism, courtesy, and warmth in most other places. All on par with some of the highest end medical offices in the city - this is not hyperbole, I’ve been to plenty. Writing this while in the recovery room!

The whole point of the ADA (American Discrimination Act) which is a Federal Civil Rights act, is for people with disabilities to not feel discriminated against. Well the Advanced Endoscopy Center DISCRIMINATES. My husband was having a procedure at the 5500 Broadway location and was asked to bring someone to escort him home. He had already mentioned to his Physician, Dr Templar, that I, as his wife would be accompanying him and that I have a small service dog. It’s not required to give notice but we like to let people know if we can. When my husband was signing his registration forms, the director of this location informed my husband that I would have to wait downstairs in the buildings waiting room. I went to speak to the Director of this location to show him the ADA rules and he told me that the waiting room was for patients only. Which wasn’t true. All the people accompanying the patients were waiting in this room. I explained that I still needed to be legally allowed but he tried to tell me the ADA wasn’t a federal or NY state rule. I explained that if he looked it up, he would see it was a federal law. He proceeded to tell me that he didn’t have time to look it up. Our entire interaction after that was me politely trying to explain the rules and him treating me very rudely and having an attitude with me. Unbelievably, he eventually looked at me like I was trash, and said, you want to win. You win…!! As if he was letting me win rather than following the law. Well congratulations Advanced Endoscopy Center. You proceeded to make me feel absolutely discriminated against. Which is why this law is in place in the first place. I actually cried at the back of the waiting room. And that isn’t an exaggeration. Multiple people saw me. AN ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

They have no manners to treat people. I have been here since 9:00 am do to de fact that we can’t eat before study. So here we are with out food since 12:00 am from the day before is already 11:30 am, the appointment was 9:20 am and there have not call my name but they want us to leave the room because more patients are coming even though there are 8 seats available. It make no sense and there are cero politeness, organization, planning in this place. Hope you read this review if you are thinking in going to these place. 🙏

I loved my experience here. Everyone was so kind to me. They knew I was nervous but they really did a great job at helping me relax. Lots of kind hearted nurses like Jocelyn and Amy. My anesthesiologist and my GI doctor is amazing. there's nothing to say but great things. It was clean and organized. The procedure was fast and comfortable. I wish it was like this everywhere.
