I had a great experience but was over-billed by nearly $700. Check your insurance claims.

Update: I wanted to mention that, in addition to the issues below, it turned out that they overbilled me. Not only did they demand the entire cost of the surgery upfront, but they overestimated it by $300. I had paid with my HSA account and had to go through the hassle of filling out an HSA form and getting the money back into that account so it wouldn't be labeled as an unqualified distribution. This company has no business making you pay thousands of dollars if they don't even know how much you will owe. This place's billing policies are an absolute joke. They gave me an original estimate of $1700 and then called me the DAY OF surgery to say it would actually be $2700. They made me pay upfront, rather than bill. It's now nearly three weeks past my surgery and they still haven't sent the bill to my insurance so that it will count against my deductible. For reference, both the doctor and the pathology bills have already been submitted and approved by my insurance. To be fair, medical costs are usually complicated and awful, but this place really is particularly shady and bad. It's too bad, because my doctor was great. I wish he was affiliated elsewhere.

My MRI looked the same after the surgery as it did before. I guess I would recommend lots of other opinions prior to surgery...internalist, neuro etc and try several physical therapists if one doesn't work for you. Do research on diet/posture/exercise for home too. You're promised you'll be feeling great in a few weeks and instead feel like you got hit by a car. Just my experience...good luck

Excellent doctors and facility.

The experience was fine, but there billing is screwed up. They called weeks before the surgery and told me my out of pocket expense would be $287.00. I also signed a paper the day of the surgery stating that would be my out of pocket expense. Today I get a bill for $606.70. I called them, and they said yes, that is what I owe. They said the paper I signed was just an estimate. They never talked before about anything being an estimate. I wouldn't of had the surgery if I had known this is what I was going to owe. If anyone goes to this place, please do you homework or they will rip you off! The charges for a 10 min surgery on my hand was $4,011.00, which is ridiculous. I think they are upset because my insurance company didn't pay them as much as they wanted, so they decided to come after me. Please be aware of this. They have no right to rip people off like this! I will never go back to this place.
