Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Varicose Vein TreatmentEnlarged surface veins are closed or removed to relieve aching, swelling, and heaviness. Insurance coverage generally depends on documented symptoms and a trial of compression stockings, rather than appearance alone.Dialysis Access CreationAn artery and vein are connected, or a graft placed, to create a durable access point for dialysis. The connection needs weeks to mature and strengthen before it can be used reliably.Arteriovenous Fistula RepairRestores flow through a dialysis access that has narrowed or clotted. Because dialysis depends entirely on that access working, problems are addressed promptly rather than watched.Endovascular Aneurysm RepairA stent graft is delivered through the arteries to reinforce a weakened, bulging section of the aorta from the inside. It avoids a large open incision, but requires lifelong imaging follow-up to confirm the graft stays sealed.Carotid EndarterectomyPlaque is removed from the carotid artery in the neck to reduce stroke risk. Recommended when narrowing is significant, particularly after a warning stroke or transient ischemic attack.Peripheral Artery StentingA stent props open a narrowed artery outside the heart, usually in the leg, to restore blood flow. Often combined with balloon angioplasty and paired with a walking program afterward.

We were referred to this group by our family physician… My father was having excruciating pain and had a really bad abscess We were fortunate enough to get Dr Bouchard and she was amazing caring and understanding and just an all-around great person. Her assistant was very nice and showed compassion to my dad. The whole office was very friendly and kind. You can tell these people that work in this office enjoy their job and they all have a great rapport.

Nobody wants to need surgery. Dr Bouchard came highly recommended and from the first meeting I had every confidence that she was the right surgeon. She explained everything, gave me time to ask questions and followed up with some questions to make sure I understood my options. She also knew my file. I never felt like I was just another patient on an assembly line. I was treated like a person. On the day of surgery, the entire team was kind and professional and personable. Dr Bouchard and her assistant followed up in the hospital to make sure I and my family understood how the surgery went and what to expect from recovery. Her office staff helped me navigate the medical paperwork and made sure I understood how much recovery time I was actually going to need. ( They were right). I’m 3 weeks out from surgery, feeling good and nearly 100%. It hasn’t been a cake walk but I can’t fully describe how enthusiastic I am to feel My life and health coming back to normal. I absolutely recommend Dr Bouchard and her team. I felt like I was being cared for by a trusted friend.

Excellent facilities and staff! Facilities are well maintained, clean and well decorated. Office staff was very helpful. Surgeon was amazing. I had to have emergency surgery and the dr was confident skilled and made me feel like it would be ok. My husband has had surgery there also and again everything was very professional but caring also. We are extremely pleased and would recommend surgical associates to anyone.

I was given several doctors names by a friend to research. I looked him up and was impressed by his experiences both in medical school and his career. He had an internship specifically with colon surgery. His google reviews from other patients were 5 star and his previous patients had great experiences using him. When I met him for my initial appointment he spent plenty of time with me explaining the procedure. He even had a 8 x 10 black and white picture of the large colon and color markers to draw with to further explain the procedure and the precise places he would cut and reattach. He was patient and answered all my questions. He also has a great staff. His assistant Amy is wonderful! She scheduled everything for me and completed the physicians portion of my FMLA and short term disability paperwork quickly. He and his associates are quick to return the after hours and weekend phone calls. Surgery is never fun, but at least I had a great experience.
