Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.
Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

I normally don't do surveys, but this I have to write one. I found a hidden treasure when I ended up in surgery at Nadora. Nadora surgery center is the most caring environment I have ever encountered. The staff is genuinely caring as they worked hard to meet my specific needs. Going into surgery with past surgery related trauma makes it incredibly difficult to trust the medical professionals. But Nadora changed that for me. This place went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I asked for. The lead nurse, Jeanine, was with me my whole awake time in pre-op and made sure I was as comfortable as possible...she might as well have been a therapist, except she also performed her nurse duties with a 100% excellence. Because of people like her, and also the anesthesiologist, Dr. Wilde, I was able to commit to this surgery and go through with it. I honestly cannot brag enough about how well one is taken care of at Nadora.

What an experience. The staff to patient ratio was ideal. The staff was very attentive to my needs and made me feel I was their only priority. I felt as if I was at a retreat! The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well decorated. Highly recommend this surgery center.

I had a wonderful experience with Nadora Healthcare from start to finish. All of the nurses were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. A special thank-you to Porsha—she was absolutely amazing—and to the nurse who discharged me (I can’t remember her name, but she was wonderful as well!). My surgeon, Dr. Baumgartner, was exceptional and made me feel confident and well cared for throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate the entire team for making my experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. Highly recommend Nadora Healthcare!

My experience at Nadora Healthcare couldn't have been better. The surgeon had mentioned to me that he worked with a great team at Nadora. From the receptionist to the doctor, nurses and everyone I had contact with were super helpful and patient with me. They all made me feel welcomed. At night when the nurses came into my room, most of the time I didn't feel them. I liked how the facility kept the noise level to a minimum. Everyone was so attentive, and knowledgeable. The only thing I was a little sadden about was that there were not many vegan options. Other than that, it was a great stay at Nadora Healthcare!

I had a great experience here! The nurses, Skye and Cara, were excellent and so helpful. Skye even played a song in the OR that I love, but never knew who it was. An extra bonus. Dr. Dhupar is great and I can tell he really cares. I highly recommend Nadora Healthcare. I also love that they work directly with Christian Healthcare Ministries!
