Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint โ€” commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does โ€” a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

The care I received at the Center for Urologic Surgery was top notch. They offer the very best of care. All of the staff are very warm and caring and they kept me comfortable and well informed every step of the way. And Dr. Elizabeth Williams is excellent. Truly the most amazing and caring medical staff I've ever had the pleasure of being treated with. I've had countless procedures with them and have yet to have a negative experience. I've also had many experiences with other surgery centers/medical staff and none have ever come close to comparing to Center for Urologic Surgery. Amazing receptionists, amazing doctors (especially Dr. Bullock!!!!), amazing nurses, amazing OR staff - everyone is extremely respectful, polite, caring, attentive, and takes my (and others') privacy very seriously. I'm ETERNALLY grateful. Would recommend to any loved one. ๐Ÿ’˜

Dr Goldenberg and the team at the surgery center , my nurse Amy and all the staff were excellent. I was nervous as I never had to have surgery prior to today. They help keep it calm and low key. My whole experience was fantastic considering it was surgery. I would recommend you all to everyone !!!!!!!

Had a recent minor surgery performed here based on my urologists recommendation. The staff was attentive, thoughtful and professional. The center is rather small, not overwhelming. The care I received was first rate and I would highly recommend the Center for anyone considering urologic surgery

I've endured THREE urological surgeries (kidney stone related) within a 6 week period and had nothing but fabulous experiences with this treatment team! They were professional, courteous, upbeat and kind. They made me feel extremely comfortable and everyone had a fabulous sense of humor, as well (which i admire in people). Dr. Travis Dum, MD is my urologist and I have the utmost faith in him AND his treatment team. I'd definitely refer people to this center AND use them again, if need be.
