Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

Procedure list is based on CMS-reported specialty designations. Contact the facility to confirm specific procedures offered.

Dr. Sean Neary is the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen! For 20 years, I’ve battled rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, visiting many chiropractors and rheumatologists, but none compare to Dr. Neary. Every visit leaves me pain-free and more mobile. His expertise, compassion, and personalized care are unmatched. The office is welcoming, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Thank you, Dr. Neary, for transforming my quality of life! I highly recommend him to anyone with chronic pain.

I honestly didn't expect to come away with much improvement, if any, having seen chiropractors on a few occasions over the years. So I was definitely surprised this time!! I was amazed at the variety of treatments I received.....and that they actually worked!! Dr. Sean & Trinity were willing to answer any & all questions about my knee issues. And why I had pain over here when my injury was over there! The ladies at the front desk were always kind and encouraging, and flexible in accommodating my schedule. I highly recommend Mid America Spine & Rehab!!

Needed someone for an adjustment since my chiropractor had retired. Looked online and Mid America looked good and was convenient. GREAT MOVE! Dr. Sean did a wonderful adjustment! He mentioned that they also do Physical Therapy, which was good to know since the recently-torn meniscus in my left knee was continuing to give me trouble. So far I've had several sessions for the knee and have found them beneficial. They take a different approach than I'm used to (more technology-based), but it has done much better for me than the traditional therapy I had recieved from a different provider. Great people, pleasant, low-key facility and vibe, and great results! HIGHLY Recommended!

Watch who you let handle your neck, Dr. Bob probably shouldn’t call him a doctor, made my neck issue worse. He also is very rude and condescending, didn’t listen to me. After $1,000 on adjustments he said well I can’t help you. I would leave the office trying to get my neck in place and all the receptionist would say is doc wouldn’t like you moving your neck around. I’ve been trying for over a year to rehabilitate , still having issues. And you probably removed me from your patient list. That way it shows I was never a patient. But I do have receipts. Guy thinks he is a god. BE AWARE!!!!!!

When I needed to see a chiropractor as soon as possible due to severe hip and back pain, Mid America fit me in immediately. With only 1 visit, my pain was greatly relieved and Dr Neary showed me the source of my problem. He set up a treatment plan with consideration for a long-term, pain free future. My years of living with constant back pain are now over thanks to this treatment plan. The office personnel are always thoughtful of and responsive to my needs. I highly recommend this practice.
